How it works
Hydronic systems circulate heated fluid through tubing arranged in or below the floor assembly, transferring heat to the floor and occupied space.
What it does well
Radiant floors can provide distributed heat and are particularly attractive in some slab-on-grade, basement and workshop applications.
What it does not do
A radiant floor does not automatically provide cooling, filtration, dehumidification or fresh-air ventilation. Those needs still require a coordinated mechanical strategy.
